Data controller
This notice is for people who visit https://ferronmedya.com and get in touch through it. The data controller is Tolga Demir, based in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul. FERRON is the brand name used by Tolga Demir. Your personal data is processed under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law number 6698 and within the limits described here.
What data is processed
When you complete the quote flow or the contact form, we process the company or brand name, email address, phone number, selected service headings and the message you write. If you email us directly or write on WhatsApp, the content of that exchange and your contact details are processed as well. Nothing beyond this is collected from visitors.
How data is collected and on what legal basis
Data is collected electronically, by non automated means, from what you enter yourself. The legal basis is article five, paragraph two, subparagraph c of the law, which covers processing directly related to forming or performing a contract, and subparagraph f, the legitimate interest in responding to your request. Since the law does not require explicit consent in these two cases, no separate consent is requested.
Purpose of processing
Data is used only to respond to your request, discuss the scope of the work, prepare a proposal and carry out pre contract discussions. It is not used for advertising, newsletters or marketing. No profiling is done, no automated decision making runs and data is never sold.
Transfers, including outside Türkiye
The last step of the quote flow hands your message to WhatsApp. When you press that button, what you wrote reaches the servers of the company operating WhatsApp, which is based outside Türkiye, and from that point WhatsApp's own privacy policy also applies. If you choose email, your message travels through your own mail provider. The site itself runs on a hosting service based outside Türkiye. These transfers fall under article nine of the law and are necessary for contact to happen at all. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, email and phone remain open.
Retention
The site writes nothing to a database and what you type in the form is not stored on a server. Your data lives only in the message history of the channel you chose. If the conversation leads nowhere, that exchange is deleted within a reasonable period. If it turns into a contract, retention follows the limitation and record keeping periods set by the applicable legislation.
Data security
The site runs entirely on its own resources, carries no third party tracking scripts and is served over an encrypted connection. The accounts holding message history are protected with strong passwords and two step verification. Even so, no electronic communication channel offers absolute security.
Your rights
Article eleven of the law gives you the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information if it is, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose, to have incomplete or incorrect data corrected, to request deletion or destruction within the conditions set by the law, to have such actions notified to third parties the data was transferred to, to object to an adverse outcome produced solely by automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
How to apply
Send your request to info@ferronmedya.com, from the email address you used when writing to us. If you would rather apply in writing, ask at the same address and a postal address for service will be sent to you. Depending on its nature, your request is answered within thirty days at the latest and as a rule free of charge. If the action requires a cost, the fee set out in the tariff of the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged. If your request is refused or goes unanswered for thirty days, you may lodge a complaint with the Board.
Visitors under age
The site presents commercial services and addresses businesses. People under eighteen are not expected to complete the forms and no data is knowingly collected from them. If we notice or are told that such data reached us by mistake, it is deleted without delay.
Changes
This notice is updated when needed. The version in force is the one carrying the date at the top of the page. If a measurement tool or any cookie writing component is added to the site, the notice will be updated and the required consent mechanism put in place.
